absoluteley disappointing. the bathroom amenities woudl ve been updated since the 1990s. also, the fact that I had to argue for my $50 security deposit back is beyond infuriating. I was practically ready to leave a glowing review, but then the safety concerns in this area dashed those hopes. stay away if you value even a smidge of comfort.

the red roof inn had handicap accessible rooms right on the ground floor, which is a must for those of us needing a bit more support with mobility. the staff was incredibly helpful, especially a young lady named telona, who guided us around the area and made us feel welcome. the room was clean and comfortable.
but there were some noisy guests hanging around at night.

The hotel had easy access to fast food options, which was perfect for our large crew of 5 teenagers and 2 kids. We stayed here before catching a North Charleston Coliseum game, and the clean rooms were a plus for the whole family.
